Designing the Mountain Cabin, a project constrained by stringent community guidelines yet requiring a distinctive identity, was far from simple. However, for Lik, it became an opportunity that stretched the limits of artistic imagination.
The remarkable roof-line stands as an artistic masterpiece. Massive wooden beams extend skyward, creating an awe-inspiring sense of magnitude and grandeur.

This 1,551 acre conservation oriented riverfront community is set along five pristine miles of the Payette River. Reclaimed wood beams, rusted steel and local stone were all used create a cabin with character and charm expected from the wilderness.

Cascade lake located in Boise national forest has a real wilderness feel - and Lik wanted the Lake Cabin to be immersed in nature yet have his recognizable design edge to it. The organic elements, corrugated iron, and a spiral staircase really added to that special vibe you would expect from Lik and Jewel Homes.
